The term „ôba“ originates from the west-african Yoruba-language and means „king“.
It is also the name of an african river-deity („obba“)( (oder „river-goddess“).
„axé“ (african: „ase“, cuban: „ache“) comes from the afro-brazilian „Candomblé“-religion and hast he meaning of „universal energy“…the energy which is inherent in everything.
